The WWF Managers line from Jakks Pacific paired wrestlers with their on-screen managers in two-pack sets — a brilliant concept for the Attitude Era toy line. Bob Backlund was the former two-time WWF Champion who reinvented himself in the mid-'90s as a deranged, bow-tie-wearing manager, and The Sultan was Rikishi (then wrestling under a masked gimmick) managed by Backlund and the Iron Sheik. This is a deep-cut pairing from a transitional era in WWF programming — before Rikishi became the dancing Samoan that fans remember. Jakks Pacific's WWF line defined wrestling toy collecting in the late '90s.
