WWF Famous Fights Bend-Ems Ahmed Johnson VS Faarooq
1 OF 1 · NO RESTOCK
JusToys' WWF Bend-Ems Famous Fights two-pack, Ahmed Johnson versus Faarooq, is a mid-to-late 1990s blister-carded collectible from one of the most underrated feuds the Federation ran during that stretch. The set is sealed on its card, blue blister with yellow block lettering, both figures bent into their signature postures and frozen there going on three decades now.
Ahmed Johnson and Faarooq had history that mattered. Johnson became the first African American WWF Intercontinental Champion in 1996, a genuinely significant moment in the title's lineage, and Faarooq came gunning for him almost immediately after debuting his Nation of Domination character. The feud played out through the second half of 1996 and into 1997 across house shows and pay-per-views, generating heat that the company leaned into hard. Faarooq, born Ron Simmons, had already won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in 1992, the first Black man to hold that belt in a major American promotion, so when WWF put these two in a program together it carried real weight inside the locker room and out of it. JusToys had the Bend-Ems license locked in during exactly this run, and the Famous Fights sub-line was the company's way of preserving specific rivalry snapshots rather than just individual character releases. The two-pack format meant you got both sides of the story on one card, which collectors understood immediately.

This copy presents as sealed. The blister appears intact with no visible separation at the card edges, and the figures themselves show no stress whitening at the joints from handling. The yellow block lettering on the card face has held its color. Paint detail on both figures is worth checking before committing to any condition grade, because Bend-Ems joints were injection-molded in ways that sometimes showed gate marks or color bleed straight out of the factory. Inspect the blister edge where the heat seal meets the cardboard backing: any lifting there will tell you more about storage history than anything else on this piece.
OWNER VERIFY: Confirm sealed or reseal status at the blister-to-cardboard heat seal edge before listing condition as factory sealed.

Attitude Era Archive
WWF's 90s stretch ran hot and strange. Shirts, magazines, and figures came out of a locker-room-to-retail pipeline with zero prestige intent. The ones that made it through are creased, foxed, sun-hit, and still loud. Keeping them intact is the job. We document what survived and photograph it in the condition it arrived in.
