WWF Best Of Survivor Series 1987-1997 VHS Tape
1 OF 1 · NO RESTOCK
WWF Home Video's "Best of Survivor Series 1987-1997" is a compilation VHS tape covering ten years of one of the WWF's tent-pole pay-per-view properties, pressed during the company's push to package its own history on cassette through the late 1990s. The shrinkwrap is still intact on this copy. That matters, because what's inside spans the full arc from Survivor Series' inaugural card in 1987 through the most controversial finish in the promotion's modern history.
Survivor Series 1987 launched at the Richfield Coliseum in Ohio on Thanksgiving night, a deliberate counter-programming shot at Starrcade and the NWA. The concept was elimination tag from the start: five-on-five, the last man standing takes the match. By 1990 the format had given the world The Undertaker's debut, November 22nd, at the Survivor Series in Hartford. He pinned Koko B. Ware and the WWF never looked back. The mid-decade cards ran through Providence, Boston, and Indianapolis with Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, and Diesel cycling through the main event picture as the Monday Night Wars quietly began reshaping what a pay-per-view main event was even supposed to be. The 1997 edition closed everything out in Montreal, November 9th, the Hitman versus Shawn Michaels for the WWF title, and what happened in that ring without a bell being rung in a fair fight is still the most-debated finish in the history of the business. This tape has that match on it. Compiled and pressed before revisionism had time to set in.

This copy is still in its original shrinkwrap, which puts it in a different tier than a loose cassette. The label on the tape itself and the J-card insert should carry the WWF Home Video catalog number, and the shrink seal seam along the spine is where to look first when you pull it off the shelf. Any separation or bubbling there tells you whether this plastic has been opened and re-wrapped or whether it is genuinely untouched. Run a finger along that seam before you commit.
OWNER VERIFY: Confirm the shrinkwrap is factory-sealed and not a re-wrap by inspecting the shrink seal seam along the spine edge of the clamshell.

Attitude Era Archive
WWF's 90s stretch ran hot and strange. Shirts, magazines, and figures came out of a locker-room-to-retail pipeline with zero prestige intent. The ones that made it through are creased, foxed, sun-hit, and still loud. Keeping them intact is the job. We document what survived and photograph it in the condition it arrived in.
