WWF 2 Tuff Tag Teams D.O.A.
1 OF 1 · NO RESTOCK
Jakks Pacific's "2 Tuff" tag team two-packs were the line that pushed WWF figure production past the basic Hasbro rubber-boot period and into the Attitude years. This particular release pairs 8-Ball and Chainz, the two D.O.A. members who carried most of the faction's in-ring weight through 1997 and 1998. Carded, sealed, full biker regalia, icy blue card back with the WWF scratch logo running across the top. That "Bone Crunching Action" badge on the blister face was Jakks Pacific's house claim during this entire run and it dates the production window tightly.
D.O.A., Disciples of Apocalypse, debuted on WWF television in mid-1997 as the muscle arm of Crush's biker stable, positioned against the Nation of Domination during one of the more violent mid-card programs of the Attitude rollout. 8-Ball and Chainz were the working tag team; Skull was the third wheel rotating in depending on the card. The faction never held the tag titles but they were on nearly every house show loop that year, and Jakks Pacific moved product off the peg fast enough to make D.O.A. a recurring 2 Tuff subject. The scratch logo years for WWF figure packaging ran from roughly 1997 through the early 2000 transition period, and carded Jakks Pacific pieces from 1997 and 1998 are measurably harder to find sealed now than their Attitude headliner counterparts. Hulk Hogan figures get hunted. D.O.A. two-packs get overlooked. That gap in attention is exactly how pieces like this survive sealed into 2026.
The biker gang that brawled through 1997 and vanished before the era crystallized.
This copy reads visually intact. The blister dome is holding its shape with no visible yellowing on the card stock from what the tags suggest, and the figures appear to be sitting in original tray position. 8-Ball's bald head and black vest are the paint details that fade or rub first on loose copies, so sealed condition here is the real story. Chainz ships with the bandana and vest combo that Jakks often dropped in later pressings. Display this horizontally if wall space is tight. The card back art reads landscape across the full panel. Check the blister seam along the bottom edge of the card; any separation there tells you whether this has been opened and resealed before.
OWNER VERIFY: Confirm production year (1997 vs. 1998 pressing) against the copyright line printed on the card back lower margin.

Attitude Era Archive
WWF's 90s stretch ran hot and strange. Shirts, magazines, and figures came out of a locker-room-to-retail pipeline with zero prestige intent. The ones that made it through are creased, foxed, sun-hit, and still loud. Keeping them intact is the job. We document what survived and photograph it in the condition it arrived in.
