WWF 2 Tuff Tag Team Truth Commission
1 OF 1 · NO RESTOCK
Jakks Pacific's "2 Tuff" line gave the Truth Commission their blister card moment in 1997, and this two-pack puts Interrogator and Rekon together exactly as the stable ran on WWF programming. Both figures come sealed in the original blister with matching green military shirts and red berets. One-of-one copy at KIC, original packaging intact.
The Truth Commission debuted in 1997 as one of the WWF's more committed character experiments heading into the Attitude Era pivot. Managed by the Jackyl, the stable leaned into a South African paramilitary concept at a time when WWF creative was actively testing how dark the roster's presentation could go. Interrogator, the man behind the Kurrgan persona, stood at seven feet and was booked to physically overwhelm opponents rather than work a traditional match structure. Rekon and Sniper filled the flanks. The group never captured gold, but they were on-screen through early 1998, appearing on Raw and at pay-per-view events in a roster climate also running the Nation of Domination, D-Generation X, and the Hart Foundation. The Jakks "2 Tuff" tag team packaging line was designed to move two-figure packs at mass retail during that exact stretch, making this blister card a direct product of that programming window.
The gimmick lasted eighteen months but the plastic stayed and we're holding it for someone who knows
Sealed blister cards from this line are harder to find than the single-carded figures, and a matched two-pack with both figures still attached and the cardboard unbent is the configuration collectors are actually hunting. The military green shirt accessories tend to soften or discolor under heat storage over three decades, so check the shirt fabric through the plastic before committing. Card graphics on this series used a high-gloss finish that shows stress fractures at the corners when the blister seal has been stressed, even from the outside. Turn the card over and run your eye along the bottom crease of the blister seal.
OWNER VERIFY: Confirm production year (1997) against the copyright text printed on the card back.

Attitude Era Archive
WWF's 90s stretch ran hot and strange. Shirts, magazines, and figures came out of a locker-room-to-retail pipeline with zero prestige intent. The ones that made it through are creased, foxed, sun-hit, and still loud. Keeping them intact is the job. We document what survived and photograph it in the condition it arrived in.
