WWF Tag Team Godwinns
1 OF 1 · NO RESTOCK
Jakks Pacific's WWF Tag Team Series 1 two-pack of Phineas I. Godwinn and Henry O. Godwinn, released 1997, still sealed on original card. Both figures come molded in blue denim overalls. Henry ships with his signature silver slop bucket. One copy in stock.
The Godwinns were a working-class gimmick that WWF ran hard through 1996 and 1997, a period when the roster was in full creative churn between the cartoony character era and the Attitude shift that was already on the horizon. Henry O. and Phineas I. were pushed as genuine threats in the tag division, winning the WWF Tag Team Championship in 1996. Their peak run overlapped with the Hart Foundation's dominance and the New Age Outlaws starting to form, which gives you a clean read on exactly where this figure set falls in the timeline. Jakks Pacific had the WWF license from 1996 onward and was producing figures at a pace that made the old LJN and Hasbro runs look sparse by comparison. Tag Team Series 1 was one of the earlier two-pack configurations they offered, and getting a midcard team like the Godwinns in that initial wave reflects how broadly Jakks was willing to go in those first years.
Henry's slop bucket is the accessory that sold the entire gimmick.
Sealed on original card is the condition here, which is the relevant fact for display collectors. The card art follows the Series 1 template: red and yellow header, WWF scratch logo, both character likenesses posed against a plain background. Henry's slop bucket is molded in silver plastic and rests in the tray with the figures rather than being a loose accessory, which protects it from the usual single-figure-loose-accessory loss issue. One copy available. Run your eye along the card bubble seam before you commit: any separation at the edge will affect long-term sealed grade, and that seam is where condition questions start.
OWNER VERIFY: Confirm the Series 1 designation and 1997 production date against the back-of-card series checklist.
Henry's slop bucket is the accessory that sold the entire gimmick.
Attitude Era Archive
WWF's 90s stretch ran hot and strange. Shirts, magazines, and figures came out of a locker-room-to-retail pipeline with zero prestige intent. The ones that made it through are creased, foxed, sun-hit, and still loud. Keeping them intact is the job. We document what survived and photograph it in the condition it arrived in.
