Vintage Drew Pearson Cleveland Browns Snap Back Hat
1 OF 1 · NO RESTOCK
Drew Pearson Companies made this Cleveland Browns snapback sometime in the 1990s, back when DP caps were the dominant licensed NFL headwear in the market. Brown crown, black brim, embroidered Browns helmet logo in orange and white on the front panel. One of one, which at KIC means we aren't getting another one in.
Drew Pearson Companies out of Dallas held major NFL licensing through the late 1980s into the mid-1990s, competing alongside Annco and Starter for the department-store and souvenir-shop rack. Their embroidered logo work was cleaner than most at that price point, and the structured six-panel construction aged better than the foam-front alternatives flooding the market at the time. The Cleveland Browns colorway adds another layer here. The franchise suspended operations after the 1995 season when Art Modell relocated to Baltimore, leaving a hard stop on Browns merchandise production from that specific period. Any Browns cap that predates the 1996 hiatus carries a built-in scarcity the tan-and-orange Baltimore Ravens merch crowd never had to think about. The team returned in 1999 with new ownership under Al Lerner, but the Drew Pearson licensing footprint was largely gone by then, replaced by New Era and Reebok deals. That gap matters.
Repping the franchise itself, the city, decades of Sundays before the move.
This copy is carrying the brown crown colorway, which turns up far less often in vintage NFL headwear than the white-crown versions that dominated retail displays. The black brim gives it a two-tone contrast that reads clean against the orange and white embroidery. Snapback closure means one-size adjustability, so fit is not a concern. Display it or wear it, the construction holds. Before you commit, run your thumb across the embroidered helmet logo on the front panel and check that the stitch lines are fully intact with no pulls or fraying at the edges.
OWNER VERIFY: Confirm Drew Pearson Companies label inside the crown and verify production year aligns with pre-1996 Browns merchandise.

The 90s Rack
The 90s rack is where most of the shop's apparel lives. Team tees, tour shirts, promotional jackets, wrestling pullovers, movie tie-in prints that nobody saved on purpose. 90s production runs were large and the survivors are the ones that dodged the rag bin. Each garment is measured flat, photographed on a neutral ground, and listed against the tag size.
