Drew Pearson Companies out of Dallas held major NFL licensing through the late 1980s into the mid-1990s, competing alongside Annco and Starter for the department-store and souvenir-shop rack. Their embroidered logo work was cleaner than most at that price point, and the structured six-panel construction aged better than the foam-front alternatives flooding the market at the time. The Cleveland Browns colorway adds another layer here. The franchise suspended operations after the 1995 season when Art Modell relocated to Baltimore, leaving a hard stop on Browns merchandise production from that specific period.
