The Sandlot is one of the most beloved coming-of-age films ever made — a group of kids playing baseball in the summer of 1962, the terrifying legend of The Beast behind the fence, and the greatest pickup game in movie history. "You're killing me, Smalls!" is one of the most quoted lines of the '90s. The film captures something real about childhood friendship, summer freedom, and the magic of baseball before anyone cared about stats.
