Sealed Hasbro handheld electronic game from the 1999 "Episode I" merchandising wave, shaped like the Droideka in its signature rolled-sphere attack position. 1999 was the year Hasbro licensed everything that moved in the "Episode I" catalog. The Droideka, also called the Destroyer Droid, hit the film as one of the few new prequel designs that genuinely unnerved audiences on first watch, rolling at full speed before deploying into a tripod stance behind a deflector shield. Hasbro's response was to build the toy around the sphere form: the handheld game locks into that rolled position as the body of the device, not a decoration on top of it. The card back on this copy runs Darth Maul artwork, which was the face of virtually every "Episode I" impulse item that year. Toy Fair 1999 previews showed a wave so large that retailers routinely over-ordered, which is exactly how sealed copies like this one survive twenty-six years later, unopened, occasionally surfacing in estate lots and storage units.

The blister shows no yellowing, no lift at the seam, no crush damage at the corners. The card stock is stiff, not soft. The face graphics read clean from a few feet away with no print fade visible on the orange field.
