Sudeki is a 2004 action RPG published by Microsoft Game Studios, developed by Climax Studios, and released exclusively for the original Xbox. It came out mid-generation, after the console had its legs but before the 360 transition reshuffled the lineup. One-platform-only, never ported, never remastered.

The original Xbox library had its heavyweights, Halo, Fable, Knights of the Old Republic, but Sudeki carved out its own corner as the platform's clearest answer to the Japanese action RPG tradition. Four playable characters, real-time combat, a split-world narrative structure, and cel-influenced art direction that leaned harder into anime aesthetics than almost anything else on the box at the time. Microsoft was pushing the original Xbox as a serious contender in the living room against PS2, and a title with this visual identity was a deliberate move to show the platform could handle that genre of storytelling. Climax Studios had UK roots and brought a European production sensibility to the formula, which gave the combat pacing and the town layouts a texture that stood apart from the Japanese originals it was clearly in conversation with. The game reviewed in the mid-70s and sold modestly, which is exactly why clean copies are worth tracking down now.

This copy is complete and playable on original Xbox hardware. The case condition and disc surface are what will tell you where this one ranks on the scale, so look at the back-of-disc ring wear first. Sudeki never got a budget-line reissue, so what you are looking at is a first-run Microsoft-published release, and the label on the disc face should reflect that.
