Super Famicom Jikkyou World Soccer 2 Fighting Eleven SFC
1 OF 1 · NO RESTOCK
Jikkyou World Soccer 2: Fighting Eleven is a Konami Super Famicom release from 1995, complete in box, and one of the direct ancestors of what eventually became the Pro Evolution Soccer franchise. That lineage matters here. This is not a generic football title sitting in a bargain bin. This is the cartridge Konami used to prove their soccer engine could carry a dedicated, serious sequel before PES had a name.
By 1995, Konami's football pedigree on the SFC was already a couple of years deep. The original Jikkyou World Soccer arrived in 1994 and established the real-time commentary hook that made the series feel different from everything else on the platform. The sequel refined the physics, expanded the roster depth, and held onto the JLSL license framing that kept the presentation grounded in actual football culture rather than the arcade-floaty approach most competitors were still shipping. This was the same year Nintendo was prepping for the N64 transition and third-party SFC support was at peak maturity. Konami was one of the developers still pushing what the hardware could do, and the Jikkyou series was a flagship example of that. Up to four players on one cartridge, battery backup for season data, painted box art that holds up thirty-plus years on.
The box art on this copy shows the blue number 11 jersey going into a tackle against a sliding number 2, painted rather than rendered, which places it firmly in the pre-polygon-box-art era that SFC collectors associate with mid-cycle production quality. The cartridge is complete in box, which on a Super Famicom title means the manual and any inserts are the difference between a shelf piece and a loose beater. Pull the manual and check the spine fold. That crease tells you whether this box spent its life stored flat or got handled regularly at a rental counter.
OWNER VERIFY: Confirm complete-in-box status includes original manual and any included inserts before listing condition as CIB.
The Nintendo Archive
This is part of Nintendo's 90s run, the era that built the shop's back wall. Nintendo shipped cartridges, plush, promotional oddities, and packaging that most buyers threw out on the way to the game. What survived, mostly by accident, ends up here. Every piece is cleaned, photographed, and listed one at a time. Nothing on the archive shelf is a duplicate.
