The Jungle Book on Super Nintendo is a 1994 Disney-licensed platformer developed by Virgin Games and published by Nintendo, Complete in Box with cartridge, original box art, and manual all present.

Virgin Games had a run in the early 1990s turning Disney theatrical releases into SNES and Genesis platformers, and the results were better than the licensing-deal reputation suggests. The Lion King, Aladdin, and The Jungle Book all came out of that production pipeline within roughly the same two-year stretch, and The Jungle Book was the quieter one of the group. No chart-topping controversy, no speed-runner drama. Just a tight side-scrolling platformer that held its own on the shelf. Mowgli moves through multi-directional stages pulling from the 1967 animated film, with Kaa and Shere Khan as boss-level threats and Baloo appearing where you'd expect him. The port maintained enough of the film's color palette and score to feel like the right product for a kid who had just come out of the theater. Released the same year as Donkey Kong Country, The Lion King, and Earthworm Jim, it wasn't competing for game-of-the-year attention, but it was a competent, honest Disney platformer that filled a real slot in the SNES library.

This copy is Complete in Box, which puts it in a different tier than the loose cartridges that make up the bulk of surviving copies. Box shows the kind of shelf wear you'd expect across 30-plus years. Some edge softening is normal, but the structure is intact. The cartridge should power on without issue and the manual should be present inside the tray. Colorful box art with the full Disney cast is the draw here for display. Check the cartridge label for any peeling at the edge corners, because that's where condition tells the real story.
