PS2 Surfing H30 w Manual
1 OF 1 · NO RESTOCK
Surfing H3O on PS2 is a wave-simulation title published under the Rockstar Games label, released in 2000 during the PS2's North American launch window, and it comes here with the original manual intact. Before the Rockstar name became shorthand for open-world crime franchises, the label was putting out sports and action titles that flew under the radar. This is one of them.
2000 was a transitional year for Rockstar and for the PS2 itself. The console launched in North America in October of that year to supply shortages and lines around the block. Surfing H3O arrived in that same launch-year catalog alongside titles fighting for shelf space in a market still figuring out what the machine could do. Rockstar at that point was operating under the BMG Interactive acquisition and had released titles like Smuggler's Run and Midnight Club in quick succession. Surfing H3O fit the same arcade-leaning, licensed-locations format: real surf spots rendered for the hardware, a wave physics engine built to push the PS2's early capabilities, and a career mode structured around competition brackets rather than narrative. It didn't sell like the GTA releases that followed, which is part of why complete copies with the manual aren't common on the secondary market. Most got separated from their inserts across rental shop cycles and trades.
Rockstar built wave physics so detailed the manual had to explain swell direction.
This copy has the manual. That matters because the H3O manual includes the full move list and control layout that the in-game tutorial doesn't fully replicate. The black PlayStation 2 keep case should show the standard surfer-in-the-barrel cover art on the front face. Condition on a 25-year-old PS2 title with its original paperwork will vary, so pull the manual and check the spine of the booklet for crease lines before you commit. The disc tray hub in the case center is worth a look too, since that's where most H3O copies show the first signs of age.
OWNER VERIFY: Confirm the disc reads and the manual is the original H3O insert, not a substitute from another title.

The PlayStation Index
Sony's polygon era rebuilt what a console could look like on a shelf. y2k PlayStation releases shipped with jewel cases, foldout manuals, demo discs, and promotional boxes that were treated as disposable at the time. The ones that held on, through moves and attic boxes and thrift bins, land at the shop with the printing still sharp. We list them with the marks honest.
