PS2 Pirates of the Caribbean At the World’s End in Box
1 OF 1 · NO RESTOCK
"Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" on PlayStation 2 is a 2007 Disney Interactive movie tie-in built around the third installment of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise, the summer blockbuster that closed out the original Jack Sparrow trilogy. The game dropped the same year the film hit theaters, published by Buena Vista Games under the Disney Interactive umbrella. Complete in box, original disc, original manual, and original case with Captain Jack Sparrow front and center, sword raised.
"At World's End" the film opened May 2007 to one of the biggest opening weekends of that decade, pulling over $114 million domestically in its first three days and finishing with more than $960 million worldwide. That context matters for the tie-in because Buena Vista Games commissioned a genuinely ambitious companion piece rather than a budget cash-in. The PS2 version built out maelstrom combat, Davy Jones's Locker sequences, and a progression system that carried multiple playable characters including Captain Barbossa and Will Turner alongside Sparrow. The PS2 was in its twilight by 2007, with the PS3 having launched in November 2006, so this release sits right at the edge of the generation, when developers were still producing cross-platform titles for Sony's older hardware to reach the enormous PS2 install base that refused to upgrade immediately. Johnny Depp's Sparrow was cultural oxygen in 2007. The franchise was at full amplitude.

This copy comes complete in box with the original Rasputin Music price sticker intact at $9.95, which is a clean provenance marker. Rasputin Music was a Bay Area-rooted used-media chain that stickered its inventory consistently, so that tag puts this disc in Northern California retail circulation at some point post-2007. Case shows standard shelf wear for a CIB title of this age. Disc condition should be verified directly: pull it from the sleeve and check the read surface under light before any test session. Check the case hinge on both sides, those PS2 slim-style hinges crack along the spine ridge with age.
OWNER VERIFY: Confirm disc surface condition and both case hinge points before listing as Mint or Near Mint CIB.

The PlayStation Index
Sony's polygon era rebuilt what a console could look like on a shelf. y2k PlayStation releases shipped with jewel cases, foldout manuals, demo discs, and promotional boxes that were treated as disposable at the time. The ones that held on, through moves and attic boxes and thrift bins, land at the shop with the printing still sharp. We list them with the marks honest.
