Coogi Reversible Logo Plaid Hoodie Zip Windbreaker Jacket Sz 4XL Y2K
1 OF 1 · NO RESTOCK
Coogi reversible zip windbreaker, 4XL, Y2K production. The shell runs black nylon with an embroidered chest logo, and the full-length zip is purple. Flip it and you're looking at the interior side: bold green and purple plaid that Coogi had been doing in knitwear since the late 1980s, now translated into outerwear construction for the streetwear market. One piece, one size, no restock.
Coogi out of Australia built its American reputation through knitwear, those multicolor textured sweaters that became synonymous with hip-hop excess through the late 1990s. The Notorious B.I.G. name-checked the brand in 1994, and by the time Y2K hit the calendar, Coogi had expanded aggressively into the American market with licensed streetwear lines, hats, denim, and outerwear. The reversible jacket format was a practical answer to a style problem: two looks, one purchase, price point that worked for a market that was spending hard on labels. The green and purple colorway is not a secondary decision. Those colors tracked through Coogi's palette across multiple product lines in this period, and seeing them migrate from sweater panels to plaid lining in a nylon shell is exactly what made this label unusual. This is a piece from the moment Coogi stopped being a knitwear house and started being a full streetwear presence.
Coogi embroidered on the chest, plaid waiting on the other side, Y2K oversized done right.
The copy here is pre-owned and sits at 4XL, so it runs large. Black nylon exterior shows the brand logo embroidered at the chest, ribbed cuffs at the sleeves, slash pockets at the hip, and a waistband cut that sits at the hip line rather than cropping. The purple zip runs the full length and is the detail that ties both sides of the jacket together visually. Interior plaid is intact. Check the cuff ribbing on both ends, the ribbed band should sit tight with no stretch-out at the opening.
