Adidas Logo Snapback
1 OF 1 · NO RESTOCK
Adidas Equipment snapback, 90s production, center-front triangle logo embroidered in a blue gradient on a low-profile cotton twill crown. The Equipment line launched in 1991 with a clear mandate: pull the fashion noise out and put performance construction back in. That brief reads on every piece from the run, and this hat is no exception.
By the early-to-mid 90s, Adidas Equipment was the label's answer to the decade's obsession with technical gear worn as street dress. The three-stripe silhouettes hitting retail from 1991 through roughly 1996 carried that blue-and-black gradient palette across footwear, track tops, and headwear as a unified system. This was the same cycle that put the Equipment Running Support on feet across every major city, the same years Franz Beckenbauer was appearing in Adidas print campaigns as the brand pressed hard into its German sporting heritage against Nike's American dominance. Snapbacks from this window in the Equipment catalog tend to show up in two variants: a taller structured crown aimed at the athletic market and a lower-profile street-cut that crossed over into casual wear. This one reads as the lower street-cut version.
The Equipment triangle became iconic by refusing to pivot from its performance-first directive.
The embroidery reads clean, no thread pulls visible at the triangle perimeter. Cotton twill shell has the slight texture you expect from a 90s production run rather than the smoother poly-cotton blends that came later. Snapback closure at the rear is intact. Colorway is navy body with the blue gradient triangle standing out clearly against it. One of one in the KIC inventory, which at Container Park means one of one in Las Vegas. When you have the hat in hand, run a finger along the underside of the brim stitching to check for any cracking in the sweatband adhesive, which is the first thing to go on hats stored in variable climate.
OWNER VERIFY: Confirm production year and Equipment sub-line designation against label details inside the crown.

The 90s Rack
The 90s rack is where most of the shop's apparel lives. Team tees, tour shirts, promotional jackets, wrestling pullovers, movie tie-in prints that nobody saved on purpose. 90s production runs were large and the survivors are the ones that dodged the rag bin. Each garment is measured flat, photographed on a neutral ground, and listed against the tag size.
