1999 Star Wars Episode 1 Taco Bell KFC Pizza Hut Boss Nass Squirter Toy
1 OF 1 · NO RESTOCK
Boss Nass squirter toy, sealed in original packaging, from the 1999 Taco Bell / KFC / Pizza Hut "Star Wars Episode I" fast food promotion. That three-chain cross-promotion was one of the largest quick-service restaurant tie-ins in film history, and Boss Nass was one of the deeper cuts in the lineup: not Darth Maul, not Jar Jar, not a lightsaber pod racer. The Gungan leader. The one who grants the Naboo passage through the planet core. Yum! Brands ran all three chains under one roof by 1999, which is what made the tri-logo box possible. The packaging itself carries the Episode I theatrical branding in full, with all three restaurant marks printed across the front.
"The Phantom Menace" hit theaters on May 19, 1999, and the merchandising wave that followed was built on 16 years of pent-up demand. Hasbro was running the main action figure license, but the fast food squirter series was its own parallel program, twelve characters across the three chains, each sold at counter level as a kid's meal premium or add-on. Boss Nass was part of the Taco Bell allocation. The character himself, voiced by Brian Blessed, appeared in roughly eight minutes of the film total, which made him a genuine B-tier pull even at release. Getting a sealed Boss Nass in 2025 means someone held onto the box for 26 years without opening it. That does not happen often, and it does not happen accidentally.
A Gungan warlord, a squirt gun, and six weeks of corporate optimism sealed in plastic.
This copy is sealed, which puts it in a different category than the loose squirters that surface regularly at flea markets. The box shows the green and brown Gungan colorway on the figure, with the Episode I wordmark running across the top. No creasing visible on the corners from the outside. The Yum! Brands era co-branding is intact and legible across all three chain logos. Squirter toys from this run are notorious for the valve seal degrading if stored in heat, so the first thing to check before a condition grade goes on this one is the plug at the base of the figure. Press it gently and see whether the mechanism holds.
OWNER VERIFY: Confirm this is the Taco Bell-chain allocation (not KFC or Pizza Hut variant) by cross-referencing the chain logo positioned most prominently on the front panel.

The Toy Aisle
The toy shelf at the shop runs from 90s plush to promotional tie-ins to the odd in-box figure that someone's mother never let them open. Everything here was stocked, not displayed. We list the survivors, photograph the boxes honest, and keep the patina where it sits. Every piece is a single unit.
