About this collection
Jackets
Vintage jackets are statement pieces, and this collection has nearly 400 of them. Starter pullovers, varsity jackets, leather bombers, windbreakers, denim trucker jackets, and coach jackets from the eras when outerwear actually had personality.
The Starter and Pro Player jackets from the 90s are some of our most popular pieces. Full-zip satin, pullover half-zips, and heavyweight parkas in team colorways that are impossible to find in this condition. We also carry Nike, Adidas, Columbia, Carhartt, and dozens of other brands from the 80s through the early 2000s.
Leather jackets deserve their own mention. We carry vintage motorcycle jackets, suede blazers, and leather bombers that have developed the kind of patina you can't fake. Every crease and scuff tells a story, and these pieces only get better over time.
College and high school varsity jackets are another highlight, chenille letters, embroidered patches, and wool-and-leather construction from an era when these were made to last. They're wearable history, and each one is completely unique.
Every jacket is photographed front, back, and in detail so you can see exactly what you're buying. We include measurements because vintage sizing varies wildly. If you're in Las Vegas, come try them on at our shop inside Downtown Container Park on Fremont Street. Online orders ship fast with tracked delivery. New jackets drop weekly.
Questions, answered
Questions about Jackets
Vintage outerwear is a tag-stack and construction game. Starter satin, Champion reverse-weave, Pro Line shells, leather bombers, NCAA varsity, and military surplus all run their own authentication ladders. The questions below cover sizing, condition grading, eras and licensees, returns, and the in-shop fitting room.
How do you grade jacket condition?
Five tiers, hand-graded against the in-house scale: Mint, Near Mint, Very Good, Good, Fair. For jackets we look hardest at lining integrity, zipper function, snap and button completeness, cuff and hem ribbing stretch, satin sheen retention, leather supple versus cracked, and any cracking on screen-printed graphics or chenille letterman patches. Anything below Very Good gets called out in the listing photos with close-ups, plus a written note describing the wear pattern.
How does sizing work on vintage outerwear?
Vintage sizing runs different from modern sizing, and the differences are not consistent across brand or decade. A 90s Starter satin in size Large fits closer to a modern Medium-to-Large depending on cut. An 80s leather bomber tagged 42 sits like a modern Large with a slimmer chest. Every PDP includes flat-lay measurements: pit-to-pit width, length from shoulder to hem, sleeve length from shoulder seam, shoulder seam to shoulder seam. Use those numbers against a jacket you already own that fits the way you want.
What eras and licensees do you carry?
Heaviest concentration in the 1985 to 2005 window. Starter satin and pullover hood from the 90s NBA and NFL licensee era. Champion outerwear from the reverse-weave program and the NBA contract years. Pro Line shells from the period when the league licensed coaches sideline gear directly. NCAA chain-stitched varsity from regional letterman makers. Leather and denim runs from Schott, Levi's, Lee, Wrangler, plus department-store house brands. Military surplus M-65 field jackets and N-3B parkas come through in waves.
Are the team and league pieces authentic licensees?
Yes. We will not list a Starter NBA jacket without the period-correct Starter satin tag, the NBA hologram or printed licensee mark on the inside, and construction matching the year on the jock tag. Same standard for Champion, Pro Line, Salem, Logo 7, Nutmeg Mills, Lee Sport, Apex One. If a piece comes in with replaced tags, mismatched stitching, or a hologram era that does not match the team graphic period, it does not get listed.
What about military and workwear jackets?
Military pieces get the contract tag photographed. M-65 field jackets show DLA Defense Logistics Agency contract numbers, manufacturer, year. N-3B and N-2B parkas the same. Workwear from Carhartt, Dickies, Big Smith, and similar gets dated against the union tag, the spell-out logo era, and the construction details that shift across decades. We call out any modifications, repairs, or replaced hardware.
How is the jacket cleaned before listing?
Light surface clean only. Most pieces get a cold wipedown on satin and shells, a soft brush on wool varsity, conditioner pass on supple leather. Anything that needs deeper cleaning is sent out to specialists who handle vintage outerwear, never machine-tumbled in the shop. The grading happens after cleaning so the photos and the description match what arrives.
What is the return policy on a vintage jacket?
Online orders: 14 days from delivery to start a return. Item must be unworn, with all original condition intact. Buyer covers return shipping. In-store purchases: exchange or store credit only, no cash refund. We photograph every defect we can see before listing, so the goal of the return policy is to cover the rare cases where something arrives different from the listing.
How do you ship outerwear?
Folded into a poly mailer for lighter shells and satin pieces, boxed for heavier leather, varsity wool, parkas, and anything with chenille patches that should not be folded against itself. Shipping rate is calculated at checkout based on weight and destination. Tracking goes out by email same day or next business day after the order is placed.
Can I see a jacket in person before buying?
Yes. The shop is at 707 East Fremont Street, Suite 1170, ground floor, east side of Downtown Container Park. Walk in any open day and the floor team will pull the piece off the rack so you can try it on. Hours are Monday through Thursday and Sunday 11:30 AM to 8 PM, Friday and Saturday 11:30 AM to 9 PM.
Do you take trade-ins on vintage jackets?
On the right pieces, yes. Bring it in during shop hours and the buying team will look it over. We pay cash or store credit, with credit weighted higher. Strongest interest right now is in 90s Starter satin (NBA, NFL, MLB), Champion reverse-weave outerwear, original-licensee NCAA varsity, leather bombers from Schott and Avirex, and any military surplus that still has the contract tags intact.
Every piece in this collection earned its spot through hands-on sourcing, condition grading, and a lot of late nights. We pull from estate sales, dead-stock attics, and the occasional miracle. If it is here, we trust it.
