Xbox ONE Quantum Break
1 OF 1 · NO RESTOCK
Quantum Break is a 2016 Remedy Entertainment exclusive for Xbox One, one of the stranger swings a major studio took during the mid-2010s console generation. Remedy built their reputation on Max Payne and Alan Wake, and Quantum Break pushed further into the hybrid territory Alan Wake had gestured at: third-person shooter campaign running alongside full live-action TV episodes that starred Shawn Ashmore, Aidan Gillen, and Lance Reddick. One studio, two formats, one release.
The year this came out, Microsoft was deep into its Xbox One repositioning. The console had launched in 2013 under the "entertainment hub" pitch that alienated core gamers, and by 2016 the company was pivoting hard back toward exclusives and first-party identity. Quantum Break was supposed to be that statement piece, the kind of title that reminded people why you bought the box. The live-action component aired through Xbox Video and featured Ashmore as Jack Joyce and Gillen playing the antagonist Paul Serene, with your in-game choices shifting which version of each TV episode you received. Lance Reddick, already a prestige TV name from "The Wire" and "Fringe," played the company fixer Martin Hatch. The tech underneath was Remedy's own Northlight engine, which handled the time-fracture visual effects that were genuinely impressive in 2016 and still hold up as a snapshot of what mid-cycle Xbox One hardware could do at its ceiling.
The disc sold modestly, then faded fast as the Xbox One library ballooned.
The copy here is the standard retail disc release in the green Xbox One case. The cover art runs with the time-fracture visual language of the game itself, a figure caught mid-collapse against a fractured background. Condition on this copy is solid. The case shows typical shelf wear; check the disc tray hinge for any stress cracking where the lid meets the spine, and confirm the disc surface is clean before you run it. A complete copy with the disc, case insert, and any included code card is the full package from this release.
OWNER VERIFY: Confirm disc-only or complete with insert and any code card, and note the actual disc surface condition before listing it as play-ready.
