The Mummy Returns was the sequel to the 1999 hit that reinvented adventure cinema for a new generation — Brendan Fraser back in action, Rachel Weisz fighting alongside him, and the introduction of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as the Scorpion King in his first film role.
