ZombiU on PS4, published by Ubisoft and released in 2015, is the console port of the 2012 Wii U launch title rebuilt for current-gen hardware without the GamePad mechanics. The cover art does the heavy lifting before you even open the case: a bloodshot eye filling the frame, the pupil reflecting a street-level view of zombie chaos in what reads immediately as London, all red veins and dread. This is Ubisoft Montpellier's survival horror at its most committed.

The original ZombiU was one of the more genuinely punishing games released in the early 2010s. Permadeath with real teeth: when your survivor dies, they come back as a zombie and you start over as a new civilian, which means you have to hunt down your old self to reclaim your gear. That loop made the Wii U version a cult object almost immediately, and by the time Ubisoft ported it to PS4 and Xbox One in 2015 under the simplified title Zombi, the GamePad-dependent mechanics had been redesigned around a single-screen format. The tension held. London as a setting pulled from the 28 Days Later tradition of British urban apocalypse, not the American mall-zombie playbook, and the Tower of London as a central hub gave the whole thing a geography that felt earned. The 2010s were loaded with zombie titles across every platform, from The Walking Dead episodic games to DayZ to the Left 4 Dead catalog, and Zombi sat at the quieter, more hostile end of that spectrum. No co-op comfort. No fast travel out of a bad situation.

This copy is the standard PS4 disc release. Check the back of the case for the Ubisoft 2015 copyright line, which confirms the port version rather than any later reprint or region variant. Condition on the case reads clean from the outside.
