Sony PS4 Battlefield 1
1 OF 1 · NO RESTOCK
Battlefield 1 on PS4, published by EA and developed by DICE, arrived in October 2016 as the franchise's full pivot to World War I. That shift surprised everyone who expected the series to keep marching forward in time. Instead it went back a century, and it worked.
The WWI setting arrived at a moment when military shooters had spent years locked in near-future and modern-combat cycles. Call of Duty was chasing exo-suits. Titanfall had mechs. DICE made the call to go backward, and the result was something the genre had not seen at scale: bolt-action rifles, biplanes, horses, gas masks, and trench warfare as a multiplayer sandbox. The 1916 Somme and the Italian Alps became maps. The single-player "War Stories" anthology format gave the campaign a structure nobody expected from a Battlefield release. Critics responded: the game scored in the low 90s across review aggregators and sold 15 million copies by 2017. It remains the reference point for how a franchise can reframe itself without losing the core. That decision to go back rather than forward sits as the defining move of DICE's PS4 run. The opening mission alone, which drops you into the chaos of a Western Front assault with no HUD tutorial, signals immediately that this is not a modern shooter wearing a costume. It is a genuine design commitment to the period.

This copy is the standard PS4 edition in the blue Blu-ray case. Pre-owned. Case and disc are included. The front cover puts a soldier in silhouette against a burning sky, which is immediately recognizable to anyone who tracked the game on release. Condition on the disc surface and the interior hub clip are the two things to confirm before you commit. Pop the case and run the disc under the light. Any deep ring scratches near the inner hub will affect load times on an older PS4 unit. The spine label should sit flush with no peeling at the corners.
OWNER VERIFY: Confirm disc reads cleanly on PS4 hardware and that the case interior hub holds the disc without rattle.

The PlayStation Index
Sony's polygon era rebuilt what a console could look like on a shelf. 10s PlayStation releases shipped with jewel cases, foldout manuals, demo discs, and promotional boxes that were treated as disposable at the time. The ones that held on, through moves and attic boxes and thrift bins, land at the shop with the printing still sharp. We list them with the marks honest.
