Sony PS3 Call Of Duty Black Ops
1 OF 1 · NO RESTOCK
Call of Duty: Black Ops on PS3 is a 2010 Treyarch-developed first-person shooter published by Activision, one of the best-selling titles the PlayStation 3 catalog ever carried. This is the original disc release, not a Greatest Hits reprint, and it arrives at KIC as a single copy off a Las Vegas collection.
Black Ops dropped November 9, 2010, into a moment when the Call of Duty franchise was the dominant force in console multiplayer. The series had just come off Modern Warfare 2's record-breaking 2009 launch, and the community was enormous, opinionated, and organized around prestige runs and private lobbies. Treyarch's answer was a Cold War setting, a campaign that actually tried to do something narratively, and a multiplayer suite that introduced Combat Training and the Currency System. Wager Matches. One in the Chamber. Gun Game before Gun Game had a name anywhere else. Zombies mode had already arrived in World at War two years prior, but Black Ops made it a cultural institution: Kino der Toten, "Five," and the Pentagon Thief gave the co-op format its own gravitational pull separate from multiplayer entirely. Nuketown became the most-requested map in rotation history before Treyarch pulled it from standard playlists and caused an actual community incident. This is the release that cemented Treyarch's standing as a legitimate alternative to Infinity Ward, not just a filler-year studio.

This copy is a PS3 disc release. Check the case spine for any sticker residue or rental markings, which are the first condition tell on used PS3 cases from this period. The disc itself should be inspected under light for radial scratches in the data band. Black Ops was a heavy-rotation game in most collections that owned it, so surface wear on the disc is common and worth a close look before you commit. The front label print on Black Ops PS3 discs ran clean with no notable regional variation on North American copies. Check the inner hub ring on the disc for stress fractures, which show up on heavily used PS3 media more than on 360 copies of the same title.
OWNER VERIFY: Confirm disc release configuration (standard launch edition vs. Greatest Hits reprint, identifiable by red Greatest Hits banner on case spine).

The PlayStation Index
Sony's polygon era rebuilt what a console could look like on a shelf. 00s PlayStation releases shipped with jewel cases, foldout manuals, demo discs, and promotional boxes that were treated as disposable at the time. The ones that held on, through moves and attic boxes and thrift bins, land at the shop with the printing still sharp. We list them with the marks honest.
