About this collection

Hats & Accessories

Vintage hats finish the outfit, and this collection of over 110 snapbacks, fitted caps, beanies, and accessories has the headwear to do it right. From 90s sports snapbacks to branded trucker hats and everything in between, these are the accessories that vintage collectors actually want.

Sports caps dominate the selection. New Era fitted hats, Starter snapbacks, AJD caps, and team-branded headwear from NFL, NBA, MLB, and NCAA programs. Vintage sports hats carry different colorways, logos, and construction than what teams wear today, and that's exactly the point.

Beyond sports, you'll find branded hats from companies, events, and destinations that no longer exist. Trucker hats with mesh backs and foam fronts. Corduroy caps, wool beanies, and headbands from the aerobics era. The variety here is wide because hats from every decade have a completely different vibe.

We also carry vintage bags, wallets, belts, and small accessories that round out a collection or complete a look. These pieces are sourced alongside our clothing and held to the same quality standards.

Every hat is photographed to show the front, back, and any branding or wear. We note staining, fading, or structural issues honestly. Visit our Las Vegas store at Downtown Container Park on Fremont Street to try on hats in person, or shop the full collection online with fast shipping.

Questions, answered

Questions about Hats & Accessories

The hat wall runs Sports Specialties, Starter, Logo 7, Twins Enterprise, Pro Line New Era, and a deep bench of trucker mesh and dad-hat brands. Sizing, fitted-versus-snapback, sweatband condition, and licensee authentication all matter, and they all answer below.
How do you grade hat condition?
Five-tier scale: Mint, Near Mint, Very Good, Good, Fair. For caps we look at the brim shape and any cardboard memory, the sweatband condition (yellowing, cracking, lifting), button-cover wear, embroidery thread integrity, fabric pilling on wool snapbacks, sun fade across the crown, and crown-shape collapse on older fitteds. Stains, especially sweatband stains, get photographed straight on.
What is the difference between fitted, snapback, and dad hat?
Fitted caps run sized (7 1/8, 7 1/4, etc.) and sit firm; vintage New Era 5950 fitteds from the 90s and early 2000s are the heaviest fitted category on the floor. Snapbacks have a plastic adjuster strip in the back, run one size with that adjustment range, and define the late 80s to mid 90s sports licensee era. Dad hats are unstructured 6-panel caps with a leather or fabric strap closure, low-profile crown, no buckram.
What licensees and brands do you carry?
Sports Specialties, Starter, Logo 7, Twins Enterprise, Drew Pearson, Pro Line New Era from the contract years, Annco, American Needle reissue from the original-tooling era, Nike Team Sports, Reebok NHL, plus tourist and promo pieces from regional silk-screeners and embroidery shops. Trucker mesh runs Cobra, KC, Stylemaster, and feed-store house labels.
How does fitted sizing work on vintage New Era?
Vintage 5950 fitteds run true to the printed size in most cases, but the fabric and buckram give a little after seasons of wear. A 90s 7 1/4 will sit looser than a brand-new 7 1/4 from the current production. Every fitted PDP lists the printed size and a measured internal circumference taken with a flexible tape against the inside of the sweatband.
How do you authenticate the older snapbacks?
Tag stack and construction. Sports Specialties script logo era runs a specific size loop, fabric weight, and stitching. Starter snapbacks have a labeled era ladder: the white-tag NBA, the holographic NBA, the NFL with the printed licensee block. We pull every cap that comes in, photograph the inside crown, the sweatband, and any embroidery backside, and cross-check against archive references before listing.
What about embroidery, patches, and sun fade?
Embroidery loss, thread pulls, and patch lift get noted explicitly. Sun fade on a black or navy crown is one of the heaviest tells of an authentic 90s cap that lived outside, and is not a defect we hide. Photos always include a top-down crown shot under even light. If a sweatband has been replaced, removed, or relined, the listing says so directly and the grade drops.
How do you clean a vintage cap before listing?
Soft bristle brush on the crown to lift surface dust, a damp microfiber on the brim and sweatband for surface marks, and a structured rinse only if the sweatband is heavily soiled. We do not run vintage caps through dishwashers or cap washers. Aggressive washing destroys buckram, distorts the brim, and pulls embroidery.
What is the return policy on a hat?
Online orders: 14 days from delivery to start a return, item unworn, original condition intact, buyer covers return shipping. In-store: exchange or store credit only. Sweatband and crown both have to read clean of new wear when the cap comes back.
How do you ship caps?
Boxed, never folded. Fitteds and structured snapbacks ship with crown support inside the box so the brim and the panels arrive in the same shape they left. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on destination. Tracking goes out by email same day or next business day after the order.
Do you buy vintage hats?
Yes. The buying team is most interested in original-licensee 90s sports caps (NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL), original Sports Specialties script runs, Starter snapbacks with intact tag stacks, Pro Line New Era fitteds from the contract years, NASCAR snapbacks from the Winston Cup era, and championship-year pieces. Bring them in during shop hours, no appointment needed.

Every piece in this collection earned its spot through hands-on sourcing, condition grading, and a lot of late nights. We pull from estate sales, dead-stock attics, and the occasional miracle. If it is here, we trust it.
