Re-Grand Opening Weekend: How We Leveled Up at Container Park

Re-Grand Opening Weekend: How We Leveled Up at Container Park

We moved down the row and leveled all the way up. That was the whole point of the weekend.

For two days at Container Park, the new suite at 707 E Fremont was packed front-to-back. Racks restocked hourly. Glass cases pulled apart and re-merchandised on the fly. WrestleMania 41 energy crackling through every doorway.

The anchor of the weekend was the Stone Cold collab tee with Generation Cool. Shoutout to @reekanstruct and @betheroses_btr_ for helping design it. The first run sold through fast. If you were there, you know.

What made it feel different this time: the shop doubled in square footage. More room for jerseys. More room for cases of wrestling figures. A dedicated wall for VHS. And enough breathing room on the vintage tee racks to actually see what you are looking at.

The weekend in snapshots

Friday night stretched past close. Saturday opened with a line. Sunday ran on caffeine and adrenaline. We had rare WWF posters moving off the wall, 90s jerseys coming off the racks in pairs, and a small museum's worth of wrestling figures behind glass, a handful of them loose for trade-only.

Versus Pro and ComptonMania put on a show right out in the courtyard. More on that match card in the Versus Pro recap.

What carried over

The idea we built this shop on hasn't changed since the shop opened. Vintage is one of one. Rare is rare. And Vegas deserves a place where you can walk in, hold the thing in your hand, and leave with it the same day.

If you missed the weekend, the racks are still here. So are we. 707 E Fremont, Suite 1170.
