Versus Pro Toy Drive 2024: A Show, a Cause, and a Full House at Container Park
Versus Pro ran their annual toy drive plus live wrestling right here at Container Park last weekend. They came through big.
The format is simple. You bring a toy. You watch the show. Kids in Vegas get a better Christmas. It is one of the events on the calendar we look forward to every year.
Ray shot the whole thing from ringside. If you have followed the shop's feed long enough, you know Ray's frames. Tight, warm, a little dramatic, and always catching the moment right before the big one lands.
What the ring looked like
The lineup was stacked. SLAY put on a match that left half the front row standing up. We had wrestlers coming in and out of the shop between bell times, signing stuff, hanging out, grabbing cold drinks out of the cooler.
The courtyard filled in fast. Folks from the shop filtered out to watch. The neighborhood restaurants were slammed. That is Container Park on a good night: kids running around, bands across the way, wrestling in the middle of it all.
Why this one matters
Versus Pro is not an imported show. It is Vegas wrestling, hosted by Vegas wrestlers, for Vegas crowds. The toy drive adds one more layer: the whole evening is for the kids who would not otherwise have a present to open. You cannot buy that kind of energy.
If you missed it, keep an eye on our Visit page and the @versusprowrestling feed. The annual dates do not drift much. December. Container Park. Bring a toy.
