A stack of Complete-in-Box Super Nintendo games at Keep It Classic

A Super Nintendo CIB Haul Came Through the Shop

We picked up a stack of CIB Super Nintendo games this week from a single collector. Clean out. Single-owner lot. All original boxes. All original inserts.

What was in the stack

Mix of first-party Nintendo and Squaresoft heavies. Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2. A sealed-tray Super Metroid. Final Fantasy VI (or III in the US run). A copy of Chrono Trigger that honestly does not come through every year. Plus a handful of lighter titles: NHL '94, Super Mario Kart, Super Star Wars.

How we authenticate CIB SNES

The quick checklist:

  • Box weight and corner integrity
  • Insert presence (manual, poster if applicable, tray)
  • Cart label condition and serial alignment
  • Ink registration on the box front (reprints drift)
  • UPC intact (removed UPCs usually mean rental or resale history)

This lot scored high on every line. We did not have to bump a single one down to loose.

What this does to the shelf

CIB SNES titles in this condition move in days, not weeks. We got pictures up and started the DMs. Most of the stack will probably be gone by next Saturday. If there is a specific title you are hunting, send a DM now.

We keep a running want-list on file for regulars. Tell us what you need.
