Kevin Nash Came Through the Shop
Share
Big Daddy Cool Diesel himself, Kevin Nash, pulled up to the shop.
He came in during Austin 3:16 week when half of wrestling was in Vegas anyway. He was in town for adjacent events and carved out time to stop by. The crowd figured it out fast. Within twenty minutes the store was over capacity in the best possible way.
What he handled
He flipped through the wrestling racks. Picked up a couple of 90s WWF tees and checked the tags like a guy who grew up on the same shirts. He spent real time at the figure case. He signed pieces that customers brought in and he was patient with every single photo.
A collector brought in an unopened 1995 Diesel figure in the original clamshell. Nash signed the card below the plastic without breaking the seal. We framed the moment because that is not something you see on a random Friday.
Why this felt bigger than a visit
Wrestling legends going out of their way to support the shops where their merchandise actually moves is not a given. Nash did it on purpose. He knew the room. He knew the audience. He treated every fan like he was still in the NWO t-shirt era.
Thanks, Kevin. Next time you are through town, lunch on us.
