Eno was a true maverick in the Japanese game industry, and D-2 reflected his singular vision: a survival horror experience set in the Canadian wilderness after a plane crash, blending cinematic storytelling with exploration and combat against grotesque mutated creatures. The game's atmosphere was unlike anything else on the Dreamcast — haunting, slow-burning, and deeply strange. Kenji Eno passed away in 2013, and his small but fiercely original body of work has only grown in cult status since.
