Vintage Star Trek Warp Factor Series 3 Gil Dukat Figure
1 OF 1 · NO RESTOCK
Playmates Warp Factor Series 3, Gul Dukat, still sealed in the original blue and purple box. This is the 1990s Cardassian military figure from the "Deep Space Nine" run, silver gunmetal chest plate, dark uniform, serial number pressed into the base. The Warp Factor line was Playmates at full stride in the DS9 collector market, and Series 3 is where the secondary roster got its due.
"Deep Space Nine" was doing something the other Trek series wasn't in the mid-1990s: serialized villains with actual arcs. Gul Dukat was not a one-episode antagonist. He was the former prefect of Bajor, a recurring antagonist across all seven seasons, and by the later seasons he had become one of television's more complicated figures in the genre. Playmates tracked the show's rising cast with precision, and the Warp Factor sub-line gave collectors higher-detail figures than the standard 5-inch wave, with a collector-coded numbering system on the base that let buyers sort and sequence their sets. Series 3 arrived as DS9 was mid-run, 1995 or 1996 by most collector consensus, after the show had established itself as the Trek property willing to go darker and stay there. The Cardassian uniform detail on this figure, the layered armor shoulders, the rank insignia coloring, reflects how much source-material fidelity Playmates was putting into the line at that point.
Best villain in Trek history, and the figure that proves Playmates understood exactly what they had.
This copy is boxed, and the packaging is doing what thirty-year-old blister card boxes do: creasing along the corners, some compression from storage. The figure itself appears unplayed, which matters here because the Warp Factor line was built to be displayed, not put in a pile. The serial number on the base is readable. The blue and purple Series 3 badge on the face of the box is intact and unpeeled. Dukat shelf placement is a front-facing decision, and that chest plate reads well at distance. Check the blister seal at the bottom edge of the card, the seam where the plastic tray meets the backing, for any separation before you commit.
OWNER VERIFY: Confirm exact series year (1995 vs. 1996) against the copyright date printed on the box base or back panel.
