Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) Console — the original North American SNES console with controller. The console in its iconic gray and purple design — the boxy, angular body with the purple power and reset slider switches on the front. Two controller ports on the front panel. "SUPER NINTENDO ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM" molded into the top of the unit. One original SNES controller included — the gray and purple pad with the D-pad, four face buttons (two purple, two lavender), Select, Start, and L/R shoulder buttons. Controller cable attached.
The Super Nintendo Entertainment System (1991) is one of the greatest video game consoles ever made — its library of games is arguably the finest in gaming history. Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Metroid, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, Donkey Kong Country, EarthBound, Street Fighter II — the SNES defined a generation of gamers and established Nintendo as the gold standard of quality. The console's design with the gray body and purple accents is instantly recognizable, and the controller's layout with the diamond button configuration became the template that every controller since has followed. A working SNES is the cornerstone of any retro gaming collection.
