Super Nintendo Troy Aikman Football CIB
1 OF 1 · NO RESTOCK
Troy Aikman NFL Football for Super Nintendo came out in 1994 from Tradewest, one of the few licensed SNES titles that put a single player's name on the box and built the entire offensive system around him. CIB means box, cartridge, and all original inserts present and accounted for. That combination is the exception on the secondary market, not the rule.
1994 was the exact moment Aikman was the most visible quarterback in football. The Cowboys had just won back-to-back Super Bowls. Super Bowl XXVIII in January 1994 ended 30-13 over the Bills in Atlanta, with Aikman taking MVP honors in the prior year's game (Super Bowl XXVII, January 1993, Pasadena) and the franchise riding Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin, and that offensive line through the meat of the regular season. The SNES game leaned into all of it. Tradewest put real NFLPA player licensing behind the cart, meaning real names in the roster, though team names and marks were handled separately under the NFL structure of the period. The era in SNES football was competitive. Madden had the EA Sports infrastructure. This one positioned itself on Aikman's personal brand at its absolute peak. A Cowboys fan in 1994 walked into a Babbage's or Electronics Boutique and this was the obvious pull.

The copy here is complete, which changes the conversation. A loose cart of this title is easy to find. A CIB copy with the original manual and box in collectible shape is a different proposition. Check the box corners for crush and the cartridge label for pen marks or sticker residue, both common on 30-plus-year-old SNES hardware that cycled through multiple households. The cartridge board and shell should match era production. On a CIB this age, the box interior flap seam is the first place to look for moisture damage or delamination.
OWNER VERIFY: 1994 production year and CIB completeness (box, manual, all inserts present and undamaged).

The Nintendo Archive
This is part of Nintendo's 90s run, the era that built the shop's back wall. Nintendo shipped cartridges, plush, promotional oddities, and packaging that most buyers threw out on the way to the game. What survived, mostly by accident, ends up here. Every piece is cleaned, photographed, and listed one at a time. Nothing on the archive shelf is a duplicate.
