The piece

Video game from 1993, HardBall III brought Accolade's simulation-first baseball franchise to the Super Nintendo in complete-in-box form. The MLBPA license secured real player names without official team branding, a common split of the era. The box appears to remain in shrink wrap. Read our authentication notes for this category before you buy. Or browse browse our other Nintendo cartridges.

The year the strike ate October, Accolade shipped a simulation deep enough to replay it all.
NINTENDO ARCHIVE

The Nintendo Archive

This is part of Nintendo's 90s run, the era that built the shop's back wall. Nintendo shipped cartridges, plush, promotional oddities, and packaging that most buyers threw out on the way to the game. What survived, mostly by accident, ends up here. Every piece is cleaned, photographed, and listed one at a time. Nothing on the archive shelf is a duplicate.

HardBall III (1993) was the SNES entry in Accolade's long-running HardBall baseball franchise, which dated back to the original in 1985. The series was known for its simulation-first approach and detailed statistical modeling. A baseball purist's game. The MLBPA license meant real player names but no official team branding (a common licensing split in the era). The HardBall series competed with RBI Baseball, Bases Loaded, and EA's offerings for SNES baseball supremacy. The cover photograph captures the gritty, dirt-level intensity that defined the series' approach to the sport. Simulation baseball at its finest.

SNES game in original box, appears in shrink wrap. Pre-owned. See photos for full condition details.. Baseball simulation for the purists.
