Super Nintendo box for "BattleClash" by Nintendo. The cover features dynamic sci-fi mecha artwork — a massive green armored robot (a Standing Tank or ST) with its fist raised, viewed through an orange targeting crosshair reticle. The Statue of Liberty and a city skyline are visible in the red-tinted background, suggesting battles taking place across iconic locations. "BATTLECLASH" in large metallic text at the top. A "Super Scope" badge on the upper right indicates the game requires the Super Scope light gun peripheral. Nintendo publisher logo. Official Nintendo Seal of Quality. Super Nintendo Entertainment System banner.

BattleClash (1992) was one of the flagship games for Nintendo's Super Scope — the SNES's bazooka-shaped wireless light gun peripheral. The game featured mech-on-mech combat where players used the Super Scope to target and destroy enemy Standing Tanks in first-person shooting sequences. Developed by Intelligent Systems (the studio behind Fire Emblem and Advance Wars), BattleClash was one of the better Super Scope games in a small library. The Super Scope itself was a commercial disappointment — it was expensive, ate through batteries, and had limited game support — but BattleClash and its sequel Metal Combat made a strong case for the peripheral. Mech battles with a bazooka controller.

SNES game in original box. Requires Super Scope peripheral. Box shows wear. Sold as-is — mech combat for the bazooka crowd.
