1998 Tultex Chicago Bulls 6 Time NBA Champions Shirt Sz XL
1 OF 1 · NO RESTOCK
Tultex made the shirt that actually sold at the fan shop, not the jersey on the floor of the arena. This one is a 1998 Chicago Bulls "6 Time NBA Champions" tee in XL, white body, the kind of screen-printed commemorative that moved by the thousands in the weeks after the Bulls closed out the Utah Jazz in June 1998 and Jordan walked off the United Center floor for the last time as a Bull.
That 1998 Finals was the punctuation mark on one of the strangest and most compressed dynasty runs the NBA had seen. Six titles in eight years, two three-peats, one 72-win regular season sandwiched in the middle of the run. The second three-peat had its own specific tension: Scottie Pippen's contract dispute, Dennis Rodman's reliability questions going into every season, Phil Jackson's stated reluctance to come back, and then Jordan's jumper over Bryon Russell with 5.2 seconds left in Game 6, Salt Lake City, June 14, 1998. The Bulls dissolved that summer. Jackson left. Rodman left. Jordan announced his second retirement in January 1999. This shirt went into production right at the end of all of it, before the roster was scattered, when the city still believed there was a next year coming.
The last banner, the sixth ring, the end of the argument, printed June 1998.
This copy is XL. The Tultex tag dates it to the late-1990s fan-market production run. Tultex was the mid-tier blank of choice for officially licensed celebratory tees at that price point, and the label will confirm construction period. Look for foil or metallic ink on the championship graphic, a common print treatment for title tees in this era. The ink wear on foil prints concentrates at collar and hem first, so run a finger along the bottom hem ink edge and check how much cracking or flaking has set in.
OWNER VERIFY: Confirm the Tultex label reads the 1998 production year and the championship count reads "6 Time" on the graphic.

The 90s Rack
The 90s rack is where most of the shop's apparel lives. Team tees, tour shirts, promotional jackets, wrestling pullovers, movie tie-in prints that nobody saved on purpose. 90s production runs were large and the survivors are the ones that dodged the rag bin. Each garment is measured flat, photographed on a neutral ground, and listed against the tag size.
