1996 Georgetown Hoyas Bugs Bunny Shirt
1 OF 1 · NO RESTOCK
Looney Tunes x Georgetown Hoyas, 1996. Bugs Bunny in full Hoyas uniform, mid-dribble on a spotlight court, the Bulldog mascot locked in beside him, arched "HOYAS" text running above. This is the college-license cartoon crossover as it ran at full speed in the mid-nineties, before the market got sanitized and these tees got folded into the nostalgia circuit. The print weight on this one is substantial, the kind of thick cotton that held ink differently than the lighter blanks that came later in the decade.
The run that produced this shirt was narrow. The NBA's Space Jam machinery was cranking in 1995 and 1996, and Warner Bros. licensing moved fast to put Looney Tunes characters into every college and pro uniform they could clear rights for. Georgetown was a natural fit. The Hoyas were still carrying the gravity of the Patrick Ewing years into mid-decade, John Thompson's program was a national brand, and the navy and gray palette translated cleanly to print. Bugs in a Hoyas uniform wasn't a joke. It was a prestige co-sign. Looney Tunes college tees from this run showed up at campus bookstores and in mall anchors like Champs and the old Foot Locker tee walls, and they moved. The ones that survived thirty years unwashed and unshredded are a different category now. This is one of those. The color choices here, navy body with gray and white ink, are also why this one photographs well. Framed or flat, it reads.
Bugs never played for Georgetown, but for one licensing cycle, he absolutely could have.
The print sits on a navy body, the graphic registration tight with no visible cracking or fade on the character outlines. Bugs's face reads clean. The arched lettering above is fully legible. Sizing runs true to the vintage single-stitch standard of the period, which means it wears closer to a modern medium-large depending on your fit preference. The collar and sleeves show the expected softening from age without any distortion. Check the bottom hem seam for any stress pulls before you decide on display versus wear.
OWNER VERIFY: Confirm the 1996 production year against the tag text and copyright line printed on the interior label.

The 90s Rack
The 90s rack is where most of the shop's apparel lives. Team tees, tour shirts, promotional jackets, wrestling pullovers, movie tie-in prints that nobody saved on purpose. 90s production runs were large and the survivors are the ones that dodged the rag bin. Each garment is measured flat, photographed on a neutral ground, and listed against the tag size.
