1985 Kitty Boy "Eyes and Ears" Acton Sweatshirt, black crewneck sweatshirt with a subtle, minimalist cat design across the chest: three pairs of cat ears peeking up with bright blue eyes and delicate whiskers, just the tops of three black cats' heads emerging from the bottom edge, as if they're watching you from the dark. Pink contrast ribbing at the crewneck collar, visible at the cuffs and hem. The design is signed/credited on the right. Oversized, relaxed fit.
This is a charming piece of '80s novelty knitwear, the minimalist cat eyes-and-ears design on the black background creates an almost optical illusion effect. The pink contrast trim adds a sweet touch. Cat lady vintage from 1985, before "cat lady" was a whole aesthetic movement. Simple, clever, and genuinely adorable.
